I actually started this track for a beat battle that Pauline Herr hosted (s/o Pauline!!). This was in the midst of the quarantine and I was struggling really hard with writer's block so I thought forcing myself to enter a beat battle would help. The time constraints and the lack of pressure really let me just go with the flow and not worry about genre or style or anything.

I was surprised to tie for the win in the beat battle! So I figured "hey I guess this is pretty good" so I might as well turn it into a full track and here's the result! Extremely thankful for the spark this beat battle helped create during a time where I was feeling so depleted of creativity.

Also, this track is made up of sooo many samples from Pauline's various sample packs, so def check them out!
